Restoration sites are checked by our restoration staff during the summer and the field crews are shown how to do the work correctly and any deficiencies corrected.
In addition a yearly one day workshop is held to discuss the group projects, any new developments in techniques, watershed planning, and project funding and legal requirements for NGO’s.
For those that want more training we have courses in culvert assessment for fish passage and ecosystem impact, and a fish habitat assessment protocol for Nova Scotia.
