CSA plans to address the area of Creamery Brook adjacent to the Brookfield High School and apply similar in-stream habitat improvement; from Hwy 289 bridge to land just above NE end of school grounds, with greater emphasis on bank stabilization in this section due to farm fields all along naked stream banks (grasses, shrubs etc.) Increased water flows and pool areas are needed here.Long straight, slow water sections have evolved over time causing siltation of streambeds and spawning areas. 5 Structures proposed for 2017- Digger logs and/or rock sills, along with log framed, rock filled deflectors where required.
